Secret Sisters

YW- Please write (3) notes to your Secret Sister. Notes can include positive, kind, uplifting thoughts or a favorite scripture. Names will be drawn at B.O.O.T. Camp. Please do not bring gifts for your Secret Sister. Items will be provided at Camp.

Let’s celebrate together because Girls’ Camp is here! Please be packed by Monday evening and ready to go on Tuesday morning. Parents, please keep this contact information handy for the week.

There is extremely limited phone service at our location. We will have the opportunity to check Sister Bailey’s cell phone daily at 8 A.M. and 6 P.M. If there is an emergency, please leave a voicemail and contact phone number.

A few reminders:



Make sure your daughter has a copy of scriptures, a journal or notebook, water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, a jacket, sweatshirt and poncho. (It may be cold and wet.)

Also, please remember, absolutely NO ipods, cell phones, handheld electronics such as video games. NO face cards allowed. (UNO and Phase 10 kinds of cards are OK.) And please no hair dryers or curling irons. (Please understand, we can’t wait around for everyone to do her hair.) Elder David Bednar addressed some challenges from technology use in a recent CES fireside. Please read his talk Things As They Really Are when you have a moment. Camp Packing List

These are the things you WILL NEED to have a TERRIFIC time at camp. Please leave everything else at home!

Where possible, label your items with your name.

* Suitcase or duffel bag
* Sleeping bag, pillow, blanket
* Sack lunch and drink on 1st day
* 4 shirts (one long sleved)
* 4 jeans, pant, short TO THE KNEE
* Sweater, sweatshirt, jacket, poncho
* 2 pair sturdy shoes (NO sandals)
* 6 pair socks
* Underwear
* Pajamas
* Washcloth, towel, soap, deodorant
* Toothbrush, paste
* Tissues, comb, brush, roll of toilet paper
* Feminine supplies
* Sunscreen, chap stick
* Flashlight, with extra batteries
* Camp Manual
* Scriptures in large zip lock bag
* Insect Repellent (deep woods)
* Pocket knife and whet stone
* Canteen or Sturdy Water Bottle
* Compass (3rd year campers)
* Camera and film (optional)
* Hat and bandana for hike
* Small backpack
* Laundry bag (extra pillow case will work)
* Camp Stool
* (Optional) Mud Clothes

Also, for our craft, the girls' need a piece of 15"x15" batting and a solid colored piece of fabric, 17"x17".

All clothing must be Church Standard approved.

***NO IPODS, NO CELL PHONES, NO HAND-HELD VIDEO GAMES, NO FACE CARDS, NO Curling Irons, NO Hair Dryers, etc.

Remember this is CAMP - Do NOT bring expensive items... Put your name on your items where possible please!
