Make sure your daughter has a copy of scriptures, a journal or notebook, water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, a jacket, sweatshirt and poncho. (It may be cold and wet.) Also, please remember, absolutely NO ipods, cell phones, handheld electronics such as video games. NO face cards allowed. (UNO and Phase 10 kinds of cards are OK.) And please no hair dryers or curling irons. (Please understand, we can’t wait around for everyone to do her hair.) Elder David Bednar addressed some challenges from technology use in a recent CES fireside. Please read his talk Things As They Really Are when you have a moment.
